Most animals have a head, ears, neck, legs and body.
So how are we going to make them look different, then?
By thinking - what is it that makes that animal different.
When you've done it, point it out and tell them what
animal it is.
They'll believe you! They WANT to!

RABBIT |
Make the ears bigger and the front legs shorter than the back. Now bend it over and tuck the front legs inbetween the back legs so it can sit up. Let someone give it a little kiss and 'no funny faces' - but push the front legs up through the back legs just as they get there. 'You must have pulled a face - it tried to do a bunny hop!' |
|
GIRAFFE |
Make the head and ears and say they have short necks. Then show a bit and say 'longer?' then wet your fingers slightly and pull them along the balloon saying I'll make it longer then'. Do this a few times! Let someone give it a little kiss and 'no funny faces' then just as they get there, holding it with your thumb in the back of the neck, bend your thumb. It will whack you on the nose! |

CAT |
Inflate balloon only a quarter. Make a dog with tiny bubbles. Say it's a little cat. It is!!! |
|
MOUSE |
Not an ordinary mouse - this is a mouse with a headache! Inflate balloon only a quarter. Make the head and ears. That's it! Mmake a circle with your thumb and first finger. Drop the mouse in it. Pull the tail down and let go. It hits the ceiling - and gets a headache! |
You really ought to practise in the right environment.
